Is Beast of Reincarnation on Game Pass right now?
The Game Pass release arrived on August 4, 2026, the same day the game launched. Xbox Wire lists the game for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, with access across Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, supported handheld devices, and Xbox Cloud. The standard game is included while the title remains in the catalog and your eligible subscription is active.
This subscription answer matters because the search can refer to several different products. Console players normally need Game Pass Ultimate for the Series X|S version. Windows players can use PC Game Pass through the Xbox app. Cloud play is tied to the supported cloud plan and region. The Steam and PlayStation 5 editions are separate storefront purchases, even though they contain the same base adventure.
Beast of Reincarnation Xbox Game Pass access
Game Pass Ultimate provides the confirmed Xbox Series X|S download and supported Xbox Cloud routes. Xbox also marks the game as available for handheld and PC play inside its ecosystem. Availability can vary by country, account, and device, so the catalog entry shown after sign-in is the final check before subscribing.
- Native console version: Xbox Series X|S
- Streaming route: Xbox Cloud in supported regions
- Windows route: Xbox app or Microsoft Store
- Handheld label: Handheld Optimized on the Xbox listing
PC Game Pass access for Beast of Reincarnation
On PC, subscription access uses the Windows Xbox app version rather than Steam. The Xbox app build and Steam build sit in different store ecosystems, so do not assume that a Steam purchase, Steam save, or Steam DLC automatically appears in the Xbox app. Before downloading, check that the Xbox app shows the game as included for your account.
Beast of Reincarnation Game Pass platforms explained
There are four confirmed subscription routes, but their delivery methods and hardware requirements differ. A Series X|S installation runs locally on the console. The Windows version runs locally on a compatible PC. Cloud Gaming streams the Xbox build. A supported Windows handheld can use the Xbox PC version when its hardware and account meet the requirements.
Xbox Series X|S features
Xbox lists 4K Ultra HD, 60 FPS, and Smart Delivery for the Series X|S release. These are platform feature labels, not a promise that every scene uses one fixed resolution and frame rate. Beast of Reincarnation does not have an announced native Xbox One version. An older device should not be treated as supported merely because the account has Game Pass.
Xbox Cloud and portable play
Xbox Cloud provides the clearest no-install option for users with an eligible plan and supported region. Streaming quality depends on connection stability, latency, and the client device. Cloud access is useful when local hardware cannot meet the PC requirements, but it is not the same as owning a native Switch 2, mobile, or Xbox One port.
Windows PC and supported handhelds
The Xbox page carries a Handheld Optimized label and lists Windows 10/11. That label describes Xbox ecosystem support; it does not guarantee identical performance on every handheld. For local Windows play, compare your CPU, GPU, memory, and SSD against the published Beast of Reincarnation PC requirements before starting the download.
Beast of Reincarnation Game Pass versus buying the game
A Game Pass subscription gives access to the standard game through the catalog. Buying the game creates a store entitlement instead of depending on catalog membership. The best choice depends on whether you want short-term access, permanent ownership in one ecosystem, or Deluxe extras. The campaign itself is not presented as a reduced subscription edition.
What Xbox Play Anywhere means
The official Xbox page lists Xbox Play Anywhere. For a qualifying digital Xbox purchase, Play Anywhere generally connects the Xbox console and Windows PC versions inside the Microsoft ecosystem. It does not turn a Steam or PlayStation purchase into an Xbox license. Subscription access and purchased ownership are also different: a Game Pass download can stop working if the subscription ends or the title leaves the catalog.
Does Game Pass include the Deluxe Edition?
The checked subscription sources confirm the base game, but they do not say that the Deluxe item pack is included. The Deluxe package adds Koo skins, Emma items, Amber, and seedlings. Treat those extras as a separate store decision unless the signed-in Xbox product page explicitly includes them in your plan.
Steam and PS5 are separate
Steam is not PC Game Pass, and PS5 is not part of Xbox Game Pass. A player who wants the Steam community features or the PlayStation version must use that storefront. Check save compatibility before changing ecosystems; the official materials reviewed here do not promise cross-save between Steam, PS5, and Xbox.
How to download Beast of Reincarnation with Game Pass
To download the game, use the storefront that matches the device. On Xbox Series X|S, search in the Game Pass library or Xbox Store and confirm that the standard edition says it is included. On Windows, use the Xbox app, sign in with the subscribed Microsoft account, choose an SSD, and install the PC version. The Steam requirement page lists 45 GB of available SSD space, but the Xbox download and later patches may require a different amount.
If the install button is missing, check the account, active plan, region, device compatibility, Xbox app updates, and available storage before buying another copy. A common source of confusion is being signed into the Microsoft Store with one account and the Xbox app with another. This page cannot see your account entitlement, so the signed-in product page remains authoritative.
Game Pass installation checklist
The following checks cover the most common setup differences without pretending that every error has the same cause.
- Confirm Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass is active
- Use Xbox Series X|S for the native console download
- Use the Xbox app for the PC Game Pass build
- Select an SSD with enough free space
- Check Cloud Gaming availability for your region and device
- Verify the standard edition is marked Included with Game Pass
What to verify before subscribing
Availability is confirmed from official Xbox material checked on August 10, 2026. Catalog membership, plan names, regional support, and cloud availability can change. Check the live Xbox listing if you are making a purchase or subscription decision later.
The practical answer remains simple: choose Game Pass Ultimate for the confirmed Xbox Series X|S and Cloud route, or PC Game Pass for a local Windows installation. Use the separate PC, editions, and Switch 2 guides when the question is hardware, bonus content, or Nintendo availability rather than subscription access.
Frequently asked questions

Beast of Reincarnation is included with an eligible Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription. It is not permanently free: access depends on an active plan and the game remaining in the catalog.

Xbox Wire lists Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Ultimate covers the confirmed Series X|S and supported Cloud route; PC Game Pass covers the Windows PC version through the Xbox app.

No native Xbox One version has been announced. Cloud play may work on supported devices and regions with an eligible plan, but that is streaming rather than an Xbox One port.
